So a little over a week ago, Jack went in for his 1 year appointment. He weighs 27lbs and is 31 1/2 inches long! He was over the 90th percentile on everything. He is going to be a big boy! He will repeat words that you say to him, even though they sure don't sound perfect! Like glasses sounds like 'ga chise' and duck sounds like 'dak'. He sure is fun and entertaining. When we took him to the doctor, she had told me that the chicken pox vaccine was an option, and it can help them not get as bad of

house full of puppies!
As of Saturday morning we have had 10 puppies in our house!! That my friends is a lot of doggies. My parents are the ones who own both of the parents, and since they live in Wyoming where there is not alot of interest in puppies, they sent them to us to sell them! I can't believe how fast we are selling them.. and now that we are down to only 4 puppies, they are very fun to play with. We got Buddy 'our dog' about 8 months ago and we just love him to pieces. He is such a big part of our family. Jack and Buddy are really best friends... they crawl all over the place together. 'Doggy' was actually Jack's 1st word! They both get so excited whenever they see each other. I can't believe how good Buddy is with him too. Jack will grab his ears, pull him off the couch, pat him really hard... and Buddy just licks him and brings him his toys. It is really cute. They are exactly 3 months apart in age.

Happy 1st Birthday Jack!
So today Jack has officially been on this earth for one whole year!! Crazy how time flies... and how much you can love someone who has only been around for such a short amount of time. Life sure wouldn't be the same without our little 'Jack Jack'. We had a very fun party for him yesterday.. and he just LOVED cake. Too bad the frosting was blue... maybe we will have to think more in advance next time.. haha. He had lots of fun, and got to see lots of good friends and family. There were 35 people in our home for his party. He is one LOVED little dude. Happy birthday Jack ~ we sure love you ~
bye bye 1st home....
So we just sold our first home... it's kinda sad, but exciting that we are onto another adventure in our lives. We are actually quite amazed it sold so quickly in this economy - and because we had it for sale by owner. The lady who bought it is very very sweet, so it makes it easier to hand it over to someone who you know is excited to have it. And yes, we are still living here for the moment - but that's because we haven't found a place to live yet. Our duplex that we bought a few months ago is under contract now, and we will close on that on the 2nd of March. We are looking for homes in East Layton. We have our eye on one we just absolutely LOVE.. we call it DREAM.. .and we are still waiting to hear back from the bank if we got it. We are crossing our fingers. It is completely unfinished on the inside- but that just makes us more excited. That way we can really make it our own. But if that falls through, hopefully we will find a place that fits us good :). Whatever we do, hopefully we will know soon! Soo bye bye first home... hello new adventures!!

You and your conscience...

Happy Halloween!!

This year Jack dressed up as the devil! Funny I know, everyone is telling me, "I can't believe your dressing your baby up as the devil. " haha. But it turned out good because Trent didn't feel like dressing up, so Jack was the devil, I was an angel, and we both were Trent's continence.. :)

I dressed up as an angel. haha. We didn't go trick or treating.. Jack's still a little young. But we did get to hand out candy!! Which I loved, because I grew up out of town where I never got the opportunity before to do so. I had a great time, Trent thought it was funny I was enjoying it so much!
Our friend Stephanie from next door has a little daughter- Isabelle. She was a lion. :) She kept getting mad and Jack looked truly concerned. He was trying to calm her down. He has always been a sweet little guy.
Kinko's did free Halloween pictures for kids this year. So we thought we
d take advantage. What a cutie!!
