Jack turned 3 last week. This little guy is growing up so fast! He is still as sweet as ever, but with a hint of .. well.. a 3 year old! Ha. He will say things like, "Wow.. that really nice mom." When I have a different shirt on.. or he will say, "Mom.. be happy!" If I am not smiling whenever he first sees me. He is a good little guy to have around! He still drinks a cup of milk, and wants to read 3 books before he goes to bed every night. He recently just started using toothpaste, and he LOVES to spit in the sink. Still not potty trained.. but always uses the bathroom before bed, naps, or before we leave the house.
We were going to have a big party with a bunch of kids to come play with Jack at Chuck E Cheese for his birthday- but unfortunately there is a lot of sickness going around, so we just ended up going with our close friends. But we still had a ton of fun! Why Chuck E Cheese you ask? Well, it may seem kind of silly, but I had my 3rd birthday at Chuck E Cheese.. and it was my earliest memory. So I want to have all of my kids' 3rd birthday's there too. Silly tradition.. but I think it will make for some good memories!! We sure love you Jack!
And yes.. we got some good cake from Target. We found it in the frozen section (and it was wonderful!!) Jack found a great way to eat it! And Blake thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream!
It looked like Little Jack had a blast! We feel so sad that we couldn't make it. Happy Birthday Jack!!!
