Summer fun

California

We headed off to California a week after Fantasy Con and had an awesome time (like always). We boogie boarded, played at the beach, looked for buried treasure, played war with playdough, exercised at the gym and enjoyed fantastic company. Jack caught his first huge wave all by himself! It was so awesome to watch that! We played at parks on the way there and on the way home - and loved the trip each way. I realized whenever Blake talks about the future, it starts out, "When I'm a dad..." haha. Cute kid.

4th of July fun!

Guess who we got to spend the 4th with this year?! Jared! How lucky were we? Pretty darn lucky if you ask me! It was great seeing him. The boys loved him, and we got to meet his sweet girlfriend Ambir. Hopefully it won't be too long until we get to see them again.

Fantasy Con year 1

Fantasy Con. Wow, what a crazy 3 days. We did a total of 12 performances over a span of 3 days! And with routines at almost 6 minutes long, this was definitely the most strenuous feat for me to date. I had such a great time working with Holly and Tricia, and it was so fun to perform our routine multiple times. We felt pretty important performing on our 'silk scarves' too, because we had so many random people want their picture taken with us. It was a very memorable experience.

Oh, and I totally named the huge dragon, Volos! I got this cute little guy in return along with a couple of other fun fantasycon trinkets. Ty loves his dragon so much, he barely puts him down.
