Soccer pics & Fear Factory

Jack is still enjoying soccer. It's so funny to watch all the kids run around trying to figure it all out. It also makes you feel better when all of the parents are also yelling, "Turn around! Pay attention to the ball!" haha. It's nice that all the games and practices are on Saturday, it makes it really fun - and it's crazy how much I just love watching him play!
And yes, the sun was right in this little guys eyes during the picture. That and his forced smile just make me laugh.

I got to play on the silks at the Fear Factory a couple of weekends ago. Fear Factory is a haunted house attraction in down town Salt Lake City. It was fun. Our aerial team is named, 'The Drop Dead Darlings'. Pretty clever I thought. HAHA

Not somewhere I would hang out on a regular basis, but I told them I would perform twice over the Halloween season - so I will be doing it once again before Halloween.

I am excited to start figuring out what we will be this Halloween... hopefully my boys will have some ideas for us :)

1 mile FUN RUN!

Jack ran his first race on Friday! A 1 mile fun run where it was aimed more towards kids because it was a fundraiser for Jack's school. There were about 24-25 kids just in his age group alone! He has been so excited about this, and his Grandma from California gave him some really good running tips when she was up here last :)

They weren't the most organized at figuring out what place people came in, but from what we saw it looked as if he came in 2nd place. We know it was at least 4th place - woop woop, way to go buddy!! It was fun to watching him beat even some of the 6th graders. But of course he was just happy to finish so he could then walk over to the balloon animal line!

Luckily Trent got to run with him... I probably wouldn't have been able to keep up!!

Random fun pictures

Here are some random pictures from the last month. There are some of the new guitar Trent got for me (GORGEOUS).. looks like I'd better start playing again :), and our anniversary where we got to walk around City Creek Mall. That was fun, because Trent and I are so alike, we just basically walked, took it all in, and watched people. HAHA. And boy did we have fun. Come to think of it.. I think the only store we went in was to look at fudge!

One of course with Teancum holding a flower, Tyler wrestling with Blake, Jack cooking, Tyler being cute, and Jack practicing his jumping abilities.

And last, but definitely not least, I will leave you with the most adorable pictures in the world - which include my Mom and my 3 boys, and frowny face Blake photos. The two top pictures are where we had a fun time going to Chuck E Cheese when my Mom came up and saw us for a few days. Apparently museums and other places aren't open on Mondays as early as we wanted to go - so we decided to go have fun playing games! It was a blast. We were the only ones there, and my Mom kept running around gathering tickets that kept randomly coming out of machines. HAHA. Jack of course saw this and kept yelling, "Grandma! Grandma... what are you doing?!"

The final two pictures with Blake's sad face are when we had to wake him up to eat dinner because he had fallen asleep. When he gets sad he sticks his bottom lip out so far, and that paired with big elephant tears, calls for big hugs every time. Love you Blake!

Fishing with the cousins!

We all hoped in our cars and headed to the fish hatchery (best place for kids to fish btw). It was a beautiful day, and all of the kids (minus the two 1 year olds), caught 1 or more fish! That's 9 kids! So yup, we caught a whole lot of fish! Jack was so excited that we had to cook some up as soon as we got home. Luckily my boys love fish.

It has been awhile since I've touched a squirmy slimy fish, but it was so much fun. And it was pretty fun to see which kids didn't mind jumping right in there and grabbing onto a fish. There were multiple times where two kids caught a fish at the same time. Eventually we just grabbed all the fishing poles, because we were catching them too fast! haha.

It was great seeing Jenni and her kids! They are so adorable, and Jenni is such a sweetheart. Too bad we can't see them more often :)
