Getting to know you

Tyler is a funny kid. He is so much fun to be around, it's contagious. Now if you have met him, you may think: "What a serious little person." And in a way he kinda is. He is an observer, and is continually watching and learning about the world around him. But once you get to know him, he is hilarious!

He is only 7 months old, but he will play his heart out with you - he will roll towards you and attack you with his little hands and feet and try to eat your face. He will laugh hysterically if you have something pretend to eat his belly or tickle him. And he LOVES when his Dad flips him upside down or bounces him in the air. I have never seen a more entertained face than at those moments.

Tyler can get anywhere he wants to go now, and he can move pretty darn quick. He has mastered the army crawl and is determined in his ventures. He likes to be involved in whatever his brothers are doing, and they like him to be involved too.

Some people say the more kids you have the harder it can be, but I like to think of it as that much more fun - and that many more helpers you have around the house. Sure they may mess up it that much faster, but at least they are genuine at helping clean it up afterwards! Even if sometimes they are only motivated by the fact Daddy might throw away any toys that are left on the floor when he gets home from work! Haha.

Last Thursday my neck hurt so bad that I couldn't even lift my head off my pillow without extreme pain. My range of motion was decreased by about 60-80% in any direction. The only explanation would be from when we were rear-ended a couple of weeks ago. The pain was in the exact spot where it had been sore from that accident.

Anyone who has ever had a neck spasm before, I feel your pain. As of today my motion is almost completely back after a few trips to the Chiropractor. Only limited now on turning to the left which is still about 50% restricted. I was reluctant for them to take x-rays, but when they did I noticed that the curvature of my c-spine doesn't have the regular curve due to whiplash, and that the odontoid process (top of spine that is the 'axis' of the skull)  is a few inches off of center. No wonder it hurts :P. Anywho, I should be back to myself in no time! Hope everyone is having fun out there!

Parent's Day

A few days ago Jack's preschool had a 'Parent's Day'. It was cute. All the kids worked on a craft and then stood in a line and sang songs and showed us how they could read signs, notes and follow directions.

Ms. Berry gave a progress sheet of how each child was doing. Jack knows all his letters and the sounds they make, colors, shapes and all his body part except his waist. He can also count all the way up to 60. He's a smart kiddo. It was interesting too, shy little Jack still seems nervous when he is in front of a big crowd. But he still does an amazing job. Sure love that kid!

Just today we were eating lunch and Jack noticed there was no more pasta in the pan. He turned to Blake and asked, 'Blake, can I please have some of your pasta? I am still hungry."

Blake took a big scoop of his pasta and plopped it onto Jack's plate. "Sure Jack! I share wit chew, cause I wuv you Jack!"

Times to smile about

The newest member of our family was born last month. Welcome Teancum Douglas Livingston, born to Mike and Brittany on October 9th weighing in at 7 lbs, 18.5 inches long! Yay!

This past weekend was a fun one, and very busy! We got the opportunity to view 2 baby blessings and a baptism. Our good friends blessed their baby Brielle, and we got to attend the baptism on the cute girl next door - Mykelle. And last but not least, we got to see little Teancum get blessed as well.

It was fun having a lot of family down here over the weekend. Lots of fun, lots of commotion! It was nice to have so many people all in one place!

Also, Tye turns 7 months old today! Wow does time fly :) He is army crawling all over the place and is just as cute and chubby as ever. He is a pretty laid back little dude and is pretty content with anything.

Blake always holds his arms wide open when he is sad and states, "I need wuv!" . Hugs in his world can cure anything, and he is really a mischievousness little guy - but is as sweet as ever.

And Jack is loving preschool. He has started writing a lot of words including his brothers names, and loves to  learn new ones. When I heard another mother talking about how some of the kids in preschool get their names on the board when they misbehave.. I asked Jack if he had ever gotten his name written on the board. This was his reply:

"Nope. I am really good. Ms. Berry is really gunna miss me when I am gone." hehe. I sure love my Jackster.

Halloween

Happy Halloween! We did a lot of fun stuff for Halloween this year, and since the kids are getting older they get to go to more parties! Jack had a party at his preschool, and they both got to attend the Primary party. Also, earlier in the month their aunt Wendy threw a very awesome party! This time of year is so much fun.. and so much candy! - haha.

The funniest thing about Trick or Treating, was that both the boys got so exhausted and kept asking for water (memo for next year BRING WATER). Jack would say, "I'm so tired, I am just going to lay down on the ground. I am not going to any more houses!" haha. And Blake just looked like a zombie and kept tripping over his feet. Poor guys! Sorry this was so taxing on you!! hehe

Jack in 'TV'

Jack and his brothers

This is Nicole. She stole my camera at the Hospital and was being a goof! haha. And Sauna is my night student. She's awesome. We've got a good crew up at Alta View. :)

I got a new camera that is also a video camera. I am so excited for it! It's the same size as a small camera so it will be easy to take along with me to get video and pictures anywhere! YAY. Here are the first pictures I took with it. (It's not high grade by any means, but it's still pretty good - and I love that it's so portable. I mostly got it for the video functions and how easy it is to use. Yippee!! Hope everyone had a great Halloween. Now off to being November! .. This year has went by so fast!!
