Thanks for a good year 2013..

This year has been a year where I felt I have grown in more ways than I ever possibly could. Physically, socially, spiritually. I have loved every second, and can't believe it's already over. The boys continue to grow everyday, and I find myself clinging to every moment knowing they won't be small for very long.
-------------------------------

Jack :
*Can count as high as he'd ever want to.
*Can now read whole books.
* Saved up all his candies over months and gave them to a girl as school that he liked named Stevie.
* Loves math and can do addition, subtraction and simple multiplication.
* Is very persuasive, especially with his brothers.
* Is very senstitive, and tells us his heart hearts when he is feeling sad.
* Makes sure what he eats is healthy, and is trying to make his muscles grow - and is proud of being so tall.
* Still runs home every day from school, even if there's snow. (We drive slowly behind him.. I am sure we look concerning to others watching, haha).

Blake :
* Loves to pretend and play with his beautiful imagination.
* Says he loves you at the most unexpected times.
* Still says "Me would like some", instead of saying "I".
* Didn't believe he would turn 4 until he actually ate his birthday cake.
* Loves wrestling with Tyler
* Is very artistic
* LOVES to take his time doing anything.. eating, coloring, etc.
* Is a morning person, always proclaiming, "Good morning!" as soon as we wakes up.

Tyler :
* Is very curious about everything.
* Talking more and more everyday, "Mik peas!" (milk please)
* Doesn't complain much when he gets hurt if even at all.
* Believes he is every bit as big as his brothers.
* Still doesn't like having pants on.
* Is loving to read books with Mommy.
* Has a huge squishy belly, cute toes, and still smells so heavenly!
* When he says 'Mommy' it sounds more like 'Mom MEEEEEE'. haha

Trent :
* Has been playing ultimate frisbee on Saturdays and is loving it.
* Went through many thoughts of changing careers through-out the year, but he is happy where he is now. We decided you should always be happy where you work, if not - then do something else :) .
* Currently still looking for more fun things to invest in.
* Just started doing a few P90X videos with me!
* Reading lots of books about the world in a whole new light.
* Hope he always knows how truly loved he is.

Me:
* Excited for this new year.. and all the fun and unknowingly exciting things to come...

Happy 4th Birthday Blake!

I know someone who turned 4! But just to note, he didn't actually TURN 4 until he ate his birthday cake- in case you were wondering ;) . Love this kid.

Blake's Birthday was very fun. We went out to dinner where he got sang to and ate ice cream, which he loved. Then we headed over to Boondocks! It was fun to let the boys run around there and get a lot of that energy out. Tyler even loved going up with his brothers in the playground, and it was great because it's all netted in so I felt more comfortable to let him explore.

We came home and Blake wanted to have the birdhouse come with him to bed. I didn't think much about it, because a lot of times Blake likes to have things close to him before he sleeps. But little did I know, during the night the boys decided to PAINT THE BIRDHOUSE on their floor so I could see the great work they did in the morning. HAHA. I love those boys. I couldn't get mad, because it was so cute - but we did have a talk about making sure to have plastic UNDER the paint before ever painting.

Can't believe that little guy is already 4. He is so excited he gets to go to preschool next year. I still love to cuddle with that guy, and he still loves for me to pick him up. I love him so much I could just eat him up!

Christmas 2013

Christmas was fun this year. Seeing the boys eyes light up just made it that much more special. We drove around a lot to look at Christmas lights. Whenever the boys would see lights they would yell, "Christmas Lights AHOY!"... of course Ty's sounded more like , "Ahh ahh HOY!" So so cute!

Random drawings and life

These fun boys have definitely been keeping us on our feet! They are so much fun :) It's funny because I joke around that our house was baby/toddler proof... until we had Tyler. Ha! This kid is incredibly curious about his surroundings- he wants to know what everything is, and what it does.

I had thought about putting Blake in early preschool this year, and I am glad I didn't because I love having the extra time with him. It's also fun to see Ty and Blake's own hilarious relationship grow. Those kids wrestle and pick on each other constantly- even in the bathtub!

Jack is still loving school, and it's so fun to watch him read! He even is liking a little girl in his class named Stevie. He gathered up all his little candies he has been saving for months, packaged them up and brought them to school to give to her. On our way to school, Jack sat in the back of the car beaming, repeating over and over, "Today is a special day!" haha

When I picked him up from school, I asked how his exchange with Stevie went. He told me it went well, except Stevie's mom had told her she was allergic to peanuts.... "Oh, don't worry..." he replied. "These are just chocolates, no peanut butter in them! My Dad told me so."

Needless to say, I was a little worried when I realized some were PEANUT M&Ms! AHHH. Luckily her mom must have found them and kept her safe because Jack didn't mention anything the next day.

* I wanted to add some pictures of the drawings Jack and Blake and done lately. First here are Jack's:

The little robot people they made were made with no help from me, and they have named them, Lockie and his cousin. They even cleared out the bottom of Jack's dresser for a place for them to sleep. The next few pictures are of Blake's creations:

Jack colored his race car in about 5 minutes. Blake was very meticulous with his frog and spent over and hour making sure it was just right for his liking! What awesome boys.
