Thanksgiving!

We had Thanksgiving at our house this year, and boy 'o boy was it fun. We did a 'pot luck' type Thanksgiving, so it was low stress and we got to enjoy many different foods and drinks :) - Jason even made homemade whole wheat rolls (delicious!). After the yummy goodness, we played Apples to Apples and did an exercise game Jack made up - there was even a prize for the winner!

18 months!

Tyler is now a whole year and a half old! Crazy how time flies - for goodness sakes, he's my baby and he is like a little boy now - a little person! Well... he still smells like a baby and is still squishy - so he is still my baby! haha. Boy I love this kid. He is definitely a character, and is very determined and not scared by anything. Since he got his cast off he is still using his left arm more than his right, and it did take him a few tries to start putting his hand down correctly when making contact with the floor or climbing, but you wouldn't be able to tell it was ever broken.

Ty still definitely holds his own with his brothers and tries to do everything they do. He even tried to use the bathroom like them, although nothing has come out yet ;) . His favorite thing to say today is thank you "Dank do". He is learning new words all the time, but only repeats them when he wants to. He loves being outside, and is not a huge fan of pants. He climbs on EVERYTHING, and loves to sit inside the fridge whenever he gets the chance. He is >95% on his height, so he is also going to be a tall boy. Still as flexible as ever, and loves to run.

JACK
BLAKE
TYLER
 Jack's stats at 18 months - 35 1/4 inches (>95%) 28 lbs 2 oz
Blake's stats at 18 months - 33 1/2 inches (80%) 25 lbs 14 oz
Tyler's stats at 18 months - 35 inches (>95%) 28 lbs 2 oz

Jack and Tyler were almost completely exact! Crazy huh? - Jack's head was slightly bigger though!

I will leave you with a few of Jack's recent drawings!

Jack's first book

Jack decided he wanted to write a book.. and so he made the title page, drew pictures and lines and told me to document his story completely. So here it is.. word for word - Jack's first book!

"Harmasado - The Dinosaur Book"  ( Not sure what Harmasado means, but it sure sounds cool!) The things in parentheses are his own narratives while telling me the story.

- By Jack Livingston
-------------------------------------------------

Dinosaur looked like a man.

The dinosaur came to play in the sun. It wasn't very fun because it was a little bit like winter, but he saw the sun far away. There was still grass after the storm came. Somehow a meteor came down and it broke the dinosaurs bones, but it didn't die. And his name was Jacksler!

He wanted to go on a walk but he couldn't, so he went on an adventure in a wheelchair where his mom and dad pushed him around. (This story is make believe).

"What is a snowstorm?" he said to himself.

So his mom and dad were sad because the dinosaur died because of the meteor. They had said, "Watch out! Watch out!"

The dinosaur was actually far far away after he died. He was pretty sad because he liked his parents. He was now lost. He was far away, but his parent's found him. The dinosaur was actually in the forest.

They were really sad because he wanted to make something, but they didn't have the right things. The dinosaur was also sad. Sad.

Then it rained, and was still snowy so he slipped and fell down a cliff. There was lava down there. He went down a 'lava fall' into a volcano. When it blew up, his parents found him again.

The dinosaur was so so sorry. But then he found a pumpkin.

Jesus changed his heart.

So then the sun came up. It washed all the ice and lava away. (Because remember, this is a fiction story).

When his mom and dad died, his grandparents came to live with him. He asked if they would stay with him until his parents came back to life.

On March 26th, they came back to life. More and more dinosaurs came back to life, and then people also came.

Then something really cool happened... a lot of cool dinosaurs came and made them really happy. Fireworks and the aurora came, it was like a rainbow. And then it got more and more colors from the world.

Then a mark dinosaur came. It was the most dangerous of all the dinosaurs because it could do bad stuff. Even more dangerous than a sharptooth.

THE END

Fun things and hair cuts

Jack has really been into building things lately! He went out side and found scraps of wood, cinder blocks and rocks and made himself his own fort outside. He still claims he wants to be a builder when he grows up! I thought he did a quite fantastic job myself!

Jack has also been really into doing P90X with me the last few days. Going the whole hour each time without complaining, and wanting to finish it to the end, I think this guy quite is quite determined. Blake did it with us too.. but he only lasted about 10 minutes. Which is still pretty good for a 3 year old! :) Ha, I love these guys.

Okay... so all my boys were starting to look a little straggly in the hair department, so I had to sit them down and cut their hair. Here are some BEFORE pictures. ~

Aerial friends

It has been awhile since I have felt like I have had girlfriends. It has been so nice to have some fun ladies to enjoy time together with, especially doing something I love so much and is so ridiculously fun :) . A few of us got to perform Halloween night (after my kiddos were in bed of course) at a party named, 'Cirque'. I love performing freestyle to fun music with big crowds. We had so much fun! I even won a goldfish... although I didn't take him home, because I am not the best care taker of fish. HAHA
We also got to have a fantastic girls night at MP USA, which is a martial arts studio that let us borrow their tall ceilings for the evening. We laughed so hard, got to be ourselves, and wore our muscles out - couldn't have asked for more fun!

My friend Savanah also gave me a henna tattoo. It means Om Mani Padme Hum. Don't know what that is? Look it up ;)

1st day of snow

We woke up this morning to snow! What a sight to see :) . The boys were so excited, they threw on their snow clothes and headed outside where Jack began to build a big snowball for a snowman. Unfortunately we haven't gotten around to getting them gloves this season, so they used socks on their hands! haha. The snowman didn't last too long though.... when we got home from church the snow was gone, and Jack accidentally knocked over the snowman's head. Which then was followed by a sincere, "Sooo... can I eat the carrot then?" Hahaha. Love that kid!
