Blake turns 3!

can't believe Blake is already 3 years old! It seems like just yesterday we were at Chuck E Cheese for Jack's 3rd birthday :) (3 year birthdays always happen at Chuck E Cheese, because it was my earliest memory as a child :)

Blake is such a fun kid to have around. Things are never dull when Blake enters the room, that's for sure. He loves to play constantly with his older brother - those two are basically inseparable. But when you do find him alone, he can keep himself extremely entertained for quite some time playing with his cars... or even taking his time at the dinner table for up to an hour after everyone else has finished eating! He even has pretended to be falling down a waterfall while pushing himself on his stomach all the way across the floor. What a hoot!

Blake has the sweetest voice, and the most gorgeous blue eyes I have ever seen. That kid sure is a heartbreaker. He loves to give everyone hugs, and he knows those hugs cure just about anything. Another funny thing, is that when you are talking to him and he is right next to you, it's not uncommon for him to be holding onto your shoulder, clavicle, ear, etc.. while he's talking to you. If I haven't said it before, his love language is definitely physical touch.

Blake loves hats, and putting on his own shoes and socks. He still calls everyone a 'poppy' and constantly tells everyone he want's to be a daddy when he grows up. I love that little 'Blakey' so much. - And funny thing about calling him 'Blakey' - Jack actually started calling him that, and Blake calls him 'Jackster'. I sure have great boys.

Happy Birthday Blake!! I hope you enjoy being 3 - and I know you can't wait to be in school, but I feel very lucky I get to have you at home with me for awhile longer. I love you so much!

Always remember to enjoy the ride!

Little random bits

This little bubba boose needed a haircut! Poor little guy was growing wings :)

So here it is.. his first hair cut! Here are his BEFORE pictures:

And here are his AFTER pictures. I know, he didn't have a ton of hair before, it just 'sharpened' up his image. What a cutie!

Speaking of hair, I decided to try something new myself. And yes, it did take some time! But I love it.. and now we will just have to see how long it lasts :) ~

Also, here are some drawings the boys have done recently! Love to see how their imaginations work.. and Jack is starting to know how to write quite a few words all by himself! I can't believe he will be starting Kindergarten next year.. wow how time flies.

Oh! And if you have dirty floors... just give your kids a baby wipe and tell them it's a fun game of finding dirty spots and making them 'disappear'!! ha. Sure love my kids. They are actually really great at helping me clean. I love all the extra help from my little buddies.

Until next time. Hope you're enjoying every smile you see! Cause everyone one of them is awesome :)

Christmas!

We had such a fun Christmas! Trent had these blocks made that fit PVC pipe into them so the boys could build their own forts! They also got walkie talkies, and many fun things from their Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. Tyler's stocking wasn't quite done in time for Christmas, but I am sure he didn't mind one bit!

We got a skillet and a blender from Santa and so we enjoyed a great breakfast and have indulged in many fun smoothies.

Jack's drawing of Christmas

Did he eat a smurf? Nope, just a smoothie mustache!

Ha! Too involved in dart shooting to notice his pants fell down!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Giving to others is always the best Christmas gift! Spread the love all year round.
