Jack's preschool did a little graduation for all of the kids. It was pretty cute. It was funny though because Trent thought it was silly to have a graduation for preschool.... so he kept making little jokes about it. For instance, the picture I got with him actually receiving his diploma was very very blurry, because I didn't know he was going first... and Trent claimed, "Oh darn! I guess we will have to try EXTRA hard to get a good picture when he graduates from HIGH SCHOOL or COLLEGE. haha
But it was super cute and fun. Jack did a great job. He played Hot Cross Buns on the piano and recited a poem. They also got popsicles afterwards, so it was all in good fun!
As happy as I am to be done with the preschool part of their schooling, I 100% agree with Trent and thought that preschool graduation was ridiculous, but hey, it gives the kids something to celebrate. And besides getting another chance of a good grad picture in high school or college, you'll also have kindergarten, 6th grade, and 9th grade! Bring on the pomp and circumstance! ;) Congrats Jack!
