Christmas* ~and new baby!

Christmas was so fun this year ~ Jack is getting older and can open his own presents. It was so fun to see him so excited.

Since I was in labor for 22 hours with Jack before ending up with a c-section, we decided it would probably be better to just schedual another one this time around. No need to put added stress on my crazy heart. So we set off to the hospital on the 29th after dropping off Jack at his Grandma's house. Now because my heart has problems, they weren't able to give me a spinal because it would just drop my blood pressure. So they gave me an epidural in the operating room and slowly began the medicine to make me numb.... well about an hour later the only thing semi-numb was my legs. They then tilted my feet way up in the air to help the medicine move to my abdomen. The doctor was shocked when I said I could still move my legs and feel my stomach. He said that only happens once every 2 years!! After about 2 hours and not much progress they ended up giving me general anethesia. But we got a beautiful baby boy !! He was born @ 1:01 pm ~ 7 lbs 3 ounces ~ 20 1/2 inches long!
We love him so much, and he has been such a delight and great addition to our little family! We were able to bring him home on New Years Day.

I love my boys!!

Meet Blake Daniel Livingston. We are so happy to have him as part of our family!! We are excited for the new year, and I am thankful my mother was here to help me out these first few weeks. Being a mommy is the most wonderful thing- thank you all for making that joy of mine continue to grow!!
