Joy of growth.. and cold days

With it being so cold outside, and lots and lots of snow.. we have had to find ways to have fun inside while staying warm. This picture right below was of some huge icicles that were hanging from our roof - ha Trent is so funny. I sure love him! ( and those of you know know us well, you know he calls me 'bug').

And this picture of Jack cracks me up. It's hard to see very well in the picture, but his cheeks are very very red. It's after he went and helped shovel all the snow off of the sidewalks at church one night. Trent was a little hesitant at first to take him, because he knew they would be there for over an hour - but Jack was quite content the whole time, never complained once. He loves to help and work outside. He has quite the drive and endurance.

Trent and Jack also went to get watch a Weber State Basketball game. They had a lot of fun. We won. YAY. Blake was a little sad at first he didn't get to go with them, but I told him that we were going to have some chocolate cake instead - and then he couldn't get them out of the door fast enough. HAHA.

With so much energy, and having to be inside a lot during the winter months, it's hard to figure out where to put all that energy. So we told Jack he could run up and down the stairs. We thought about 10 times would do the trick to slow him down a little bit.. but he wanted to keep going. He wanted to 'get to a really big number'. He run up and down the stairs (12 steps) over 80 times. Trent finally had to convince him to stop because he was worried his little muscles would cramp up! What a powerhouse! - Blake went up and down about 7 times.

Here are some of Blake's awesome pictures of people and 'spider people' . Haha I love them! Pretty good for just turning 3 if you ask me! - And also here are some pictures of other creations the boys made all by themselves.

And of course it's always fun to hang out with family! Here is cute little Teancum with Blake.. he sure loves to hold babies!
