Jack's Thanksgiving performance

Jack got to be a Turkey this Thanksgiving, and boy was he excited. The performance was with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders which included Pilgrims, Indians, and of course... Turkeys! Jack made his own costume at school. *******Jack's eyes skimmed across the audience looking for us and gave a bashful smile when he saw all of us sitting right in the front row. He always pretends like whatever he is doing is not a big deal, but you can see in his eyes that to him it really is. He flashes a huge grin and then quickly tries to hide it as he struts across to where all the Turkeys take their place. They recite gobbles and have a fun performance, and we rushed up to him afterwards as he proudly shows us his awesome costume. What an awesome kid!! What a fun school. I am glad to see he enjoys being here and is really enjoying learning. Jack is such an intelligent boy. He teaches me everyday.
