Halloween!

Jack told us this Halloween that he was planning on using all the candy he got trick-or-treating and give it to other kids as they came to our door. He said he wanted to re-name the holiday, "The Day of Giving." . What a sweet kid. - Of course right after he said that, Blake chimed in, "I'm eating ALL of MY candy!" :) haha!

Jack has also turned into quite the chef. Lately he has been coming up with his own food inventions. It all started when he realized he could change the color of water with food coloring. Then a few days ago he told us he wanted frozen strawberries, banana, and blueberries mixed with milk in the blender. It made a great fruit ice cream dessert for dinner. Then just this morning he made Blake and him breakfast with bananas, yogurt and mountain berry jam. It looked quite tasty!

Blake is loving drawing everyday, and if you can tell below he doesn't even like his sandwich cut the same as everyone else. He is enjoying counting small numbers, and loves trying to get reactions out of both of his brothers. Blake still loves to cuddle up with me, and I hope that doesn't change anytime soon! The intensity of all of his conversations never ceases to amaze me. I think this kid will be passionate about anything he does.

Tyler has now learned to climb and do anything he has ever dreamed with that big bulky cast on. He even has learned to bop his brothers when they aren't being nice, or just out of the blue! Sometimes he just cuddles up next to the window with his milk and observes the world outside. This kid loves being outside. He loves being involved with everything going on around him, his size never stops him. Tyler's favorite phrase is, "No, no no no no no." But the funny thing is, that if you ask him anything in a really nice way, that kid will do anything for you.  He is such a strong, kind little boy.

All 3 of the boys have enjoyed moving our couches around, using chairs, cushions, anything, to make big fun forts and obstacle courses. This is why I am glad that a lot of our furniture and things are not expensive. I love watching them use their imaginations and truly enjoy creating things. They each have so many wonderful talents.

Now on to our Halloween fun! The boys were all skeletons! Two of the pumpkins the boys drew on the pumpkins and I carved them out. The other two Jack carved by himself in the entirety with a butter knife! No joke. That kid is determined. Haha!

We also headed over to Alpine a few days ago and had a fun Halloween carnival where they got to play lots of fun games and go on a hayride! They had hot chocolate and everyone was a winner. They even had a few hay bails so I could get them to sit and take a picture! :D

Trick-or-treating was fun, we went down the street and back (which we think was the perfect amount) and gave candy out the rest of the night. The boys had a great time. It was funny, because both Blake and Jack wanted to give out the candy... so if you happened to come by our house, you got 2 pieces! 1 piece from each of them!
